Former US envoy to the Middle East Dennis Ross on Wednesday said that the sky will not fall because US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated David Friedman as US ambassador to Israel.

In an interview with the Israeli Jerusalem Post newspaper, he added that ambassadors are implementing policies of their countries not making them.

Ross characterized Friedman’s comments earlier in the year of "J Street" as being worse than kapos concentration camp prisoners assigned by the SS to supervise other prisoners, as being “beyond the pale.”
