Tehran - Irna

Ralliers on 13th Aban, National Day of Campaign Against Global Arrogance, issued a statement condemning the US’ crimes and supporting the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and Qods Force. Part of the statement reads that the 13th Aban marks not only victory of the Islamic Revolution but also global awakening movement in the contemporary history. The 13th Aban (November 4) marks the anniversary of three important events including Imam Khomeini’s banishment to Turkey in 1964, massacre of students in Tehran University in 1978 and capture of former US Embassy in Tehran in 1979. Ralliers declared that unity and solidarity as well as guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei were the main factor behind the failure of the enemies’ plots. Voicing support to the Islamic awakening movement in Muslim countries such as Tunisia, Egypt and Bahrain and Libya, they called on them to be vigilant against the nasty plots and scenarios. Demonstrators also considered the regional developments inspired by the Islamic Revolution and called on the western statesmen to pay attention to the wishes of the nations and avoid continuing their domineering policies. The statement also said that the US and its allies should completely withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan and urged the Iraqi nation to keep vigilance against the plots being hatched by the US. The US is the main foe of the nations, the ralliers underlined.
