Caretaker Justice Minister, Chakib Qortbawi, called on all the Lebanese without exception to respect and support the judiciary in the course of its struggle to build a real state of law. "Let us be positive in our dealings with the judiciary, to criticize the shortcomings and mistakes, but to stay away from attacking it," the minister said during the inauguration of Douma's new court building in Batroun. Qortbawi stressed that there are special and professional judges in Lebanon, asking to "grant them our confidence and help them to progress and build what we dream of, a state of law."
