Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is due to arrive in Bratislava tomorrow,Friday , May 13 for a working visit to the Slovak Republic (SR) , the government press service announced on Thursday. It is expected that matters of current importance concerning Russo-Slovak cooperation in trade-and-economic, energy transport, science and technology and other fields and prospects for the implementation of large-scale joint projects will be discussed during Putin's talks with Slovak Prime Minister Iveta Radicova and a meeting with SR President Ivan Gasparovic, reported the Russian Itar-Tass news agency. On Friday the day scheduled for arrival of Vladimir Putin, who attends the annual congress of the IIHF, which will hold elections of the country, which will host the world hockey championship in 2016. Putin will arrive in Bratislava for the quarterfinal match between Russia and Canada within the context of the competition of Russia in the fight for World Cup 2016 . After all, remember that when Vladimir Putin flew to the election of the IOC and FIFA, Russia won 2014 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup 2018.
