
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Thursday a phone call from his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The two leaders discussed the resumption of flights between Moscow and Cairo, Sputnik quoted a statement by the Kremlin as saying on Thursday.
They also probed the latest developments in the Middle East region, including the Libyan and Syrian crises.
The two presidents also tackled ways of boosting Egyptian-Russian cooperation.
