
Head of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister’s Court, Shaikh Hossam Bin Isa Al Khalifa received in his office this morning the Head of Bahrain Human Rights Observatory Hassan Mosa Al-Shefeiee, who presented a brief on the works and activities of the Centre. Those activities aim at reinforcing the culture of human rights, and contributing in raising the awareness of the society to strengthen and consolidate the foundations of human rights. Shaikh Hossam stressed that preserving and respecting human rights was an issue of priority for the concerns of the government, based on a comprehensive vision that includes all the political, economic and social rights. Shaikh Hossam highlighted the importance of coordination and cooperation between all the relevant parties in spreading such culture in society and turning it into practice on the grounds. For his part, the Head of Bahrain Human Rights Observatory pointed out the great cooperation of the government to extend cooperation bridges with the human rights organizations to enrich the human rights action and improve Bahrain’s image and reputation at the regional and international levels.
