
French President Francois Hollande met at the Elysee Palace here on Tuesday with HE Qatar's Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, now visiting France. During the meeting, HE Dr. Al Attiyah conveyed to the French president greetings of HH the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The two sides reviewed the recent developments in the Middle East, notably the Syrian crisis, and reviewed the report of the United Nations' investigative mission which confirmed the use of Sarin gas in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta. HE the minister urged a clear stance from the international community towards the protection of the Syrian people not only from chemical weapons but also the different means of killing.
