
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Tuesday performed with a number of military and security leaders and social figures in Socotra archipelago prayers of Eid al-Adha prayers with the masses worshipers the city of Hadibo. After the Eid prayers, the president exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution. The president pointed out that there is a republican decree will be issued to announce the Socotra archipelago as a province, noting that announcing Socotra as a province will provide the needs of its people from developmental and service projects. He referred to suffering of the people in Socotra to travel by sea and air as well as the projects that have stalled for years. "You are a part of this country and you have rights and duties and we in the country's leadership look at all the people in all the provinces and regions equally", the president said. He confirmed that the state’s efforts in the province of Socotra will focus on the services aspects and the provision of the basic requirements in the different fields, especially the sectors of health, education , electricity, water and roads.
