President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Tuesday said that the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) has made excellent success and is on the verge of concluding with the desired outcomes. During his meeting with the NDC Presidium in the presence of UN envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar, the President called on everyone to give the nation's interests priority over the partisan or personal or regional or tribal or sectarian interests. He urged the NDC Presidium to face any challenges or obstacles openly and honestly and to move towards making the final achievement as quickly as possible, pointing to the entire international community's support for Yemen to end its crisis and address its difficult conditions. "We have to look at what is going on in many countries of the so-called Arab Spring, and thank Allah that Yemenis have chosen wisdom and peaceful solutions…, which has become a model for other countries." Hadi warned those who attempt to obstruct the dialogue, saying that the UN Secretary General said in a phone call two days ago that the Security Council follows closely the dialogue progress in its concluding stages and confirmed its full support for the dialogue's outcomes and for its special envoy to Yemen in addressing all issues to ensure the success. He also urged to complete all unsettled issues in the next few days, stressing the need to make the right and necessary decisions that serve the interests of the nation and its security, stability and unity. Concerning the conflict broken out in Dammaj area, the President called on the Houthis and Salafis to exercise self-restraint and avoid violence, pointing that the country undergoes difficult situation that must be taken into account. None are allowed to break the law and regulations, Hadi said, warning of sectarian provocation which does not help the country's security and stability. During the meeting, the President reviewed with NDC's Presidium a number of issues, challenges and political, economic and security impasses, as well as efforts to encounter the al-Qaeda terrorism. The meeting approved to resume the NDC third plenary session on the next Saturday, and the teams that have not completed their works to complete their debates in the coming two days.
