
President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met Thursday with a delegation of the Saudi Development Fund (SDF), led by the SDF Vice President and Managing Director Yusuf al-Bassam. During the meeting, President Hadi expressed pleasure for the delegation’s visit to Yemen in order to carry out and lay the foundation stone of a number of vital projects, including the medical city project of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz in Sana’a. The President highly valued the Saudi support and its stand by Yemen in this stage and at different circumstances which reflects Saudi’s keenness to support Yemen’s security, stability, and unity. The President also praised King Abdullah’s attitude and sponsorship to sign the GCC-brokered deal in Riyadh which averted the country from dragging into civil war and drawing a road map for the future of a new Yemen in a manner of reconciliation and consensus among all factions and entering the National Dialogue Conference which is about to conclude. “Yemen has more needs in the various fields of development should be met in order to create desire development and provide new jobs for youths”, said President. For his part, the SDF official affirmed that the SDF will continue its support in the various fields.
