
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Wednesday issued a republican decree to grant the Russian ambassador to Yemen the Order of Unity in recognition of his good efforts during the Yemeni crisis. During his meeting with the Russian ambassador, Sergei Koslov ,on the occasion of ending his diplomatic tenure in Yemen, President Hadi highly appreciated the good efforts made by the ambassador along with his colleagues of the permanent member countries at the UN Security Council since the breaking out of the crisis in Yemen in 2011. The President confirmed that those efforts has reflected the position of Russia in support of Yemen its right in choosing the way of future, noting that these supportive positions would continue to be appreciated by all Yemeni people. For his part, the Russian ambassador highly valued the successes that have been achieved in the implementation of the Gulf initiative and its mechanism and reaching the important phase, which is represented in the full success of the national dialogue conference. The ambassador noted to the President recent visit Moscow, confirming that it has given a strong push towards developing the relations between the two countries.
