President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday congratulated the Malaysian King upon his official taking over of the office. In a message to Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, the Iranian President felicitated both the king and the nation on the occasion. He hoped that the existing friendly ties between the two countries would continue in all areas at bilateral, regional and international levels. Ahmadinejad also whished success and happiness for Malaysia. The 83-year-old Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah is the first king to hold the position twice in Malaysia.
