Manama - Arab Today

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, who was accompanied by the Managing Director of Shun Tak Holdings Limited, also Vice President of China Chamber of Tourism (TCC) and Secretary-General of the Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF), Pansy Ho, currently on visit to the kingdom.

HRH the Prime Minister underscored the importance of investment in the tourism sector, being a promising field that provides a wider platform for international cooperation. 

The Prime Minister highlighted Bahrain's keenness on consolidating cooperation with friendly China in various fields, including those related to investment, as well as economic and tourism development through the private sector.

HRH Premier affirmed the government's support to all efforts that encourage investment in the kingdom thanks to the wide-ranging legislation and facilities it has provided.

HRH the Prime Minister emphasised the kingdom's keenness on broadening the areas of cooperation with China through building on the two countries' mutual respect and shared desire to bolster their relations. 

There are numerous promising cooperation opportunities between the two countries that can be used to strengthen ties between them, he said.

Pansy Ho expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his unwavering efforts to strengthen Bahraini-Chinese cooperation and rapprochement.
