His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has warned of the negative repercussions of evil plots staged against the Arab Nation on Arab countries and peoples."Arab leaders, governments and peoples have to be vigilant and aware of what is plotted against us, so let there be no more dispersion and fragmentation," he said, stressing that unity among Arab countries has become, now more than ever, a necessity, and that the Gulf Union can be the nucleus for broader Arab unity. HRH Premier voiced the stances as he received here today national personalities, intellectuals, media and economic figures and scores of citizens.HRH Premier voiced pride in the patriotic feelings showcased by the citizens on various occasions to re-assert their strong belonging to the homeland and readiness to rally behind its leadership."Therefore, they deserve all our sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude," he said.He emphasised that what is currently faced by the Kingdom of Bahrain is a "systematic and organised" terrorism, according to international standards, and refraining from denouncing it is an encouragement of it."So, terror acts in Bahrain have to be denounced and condemned openly, as Bahrain is meant to be a gateway for terrorism in the region," he said.HRH Premier affirmed that the successive terror plots uncovered and explosives and weapons confiscated by the security bodies proved that "conspiracies are still staged against the kingdom and are implemented by national hands that allowed themselves to be used by those who want no good for this nation, instead of being grateful to their homeland which embraced them and given them a lot." He stressed that the number of those who accepted to be used against their country was decreasing day after day thanks to the government's vigilance and the people's rejection of them, expressing regret over some sides' resorting to foreign sides to meddle in their nation's domestic issues although doors are always kept wide open for them in their country and the reform and development strides achieved by the leadership for them exceed their demands and expectations. He called for the need to mobilise all intellectual and media efforts to defend Bahrain and project the real image of its milestone achievements in the humanitarian, human rights, social and economic fields, so as to counteract the attempts of incredible and biased sides to distort the kingdom's image worldwide. He made it clear that all the government's plans, policies and programmes are aimed to benefit the country and its citizens, preserve public money, protect national wealth and foster national progress and prosperity, expressing strong resolve to defend the kingdom's resources, hard-won achievements, security and stability for the sake of present and future generations. Those present praised HRH Premier as a national icon who set an example in dedication and endless giving for his nation and people, calling for the need to enforce the law on those who seek foreign interference in their country's domestic affairs.
