The hijacked Egyptian plane situation is over now and its hijacker has been arrested, the Cypriot Foreign Ministry announced.
“It’s over. The hijacker arrested,” the ministry posted on its official Twitter account.
Earlier in the day, the EgyptAir Airbus A320, originally traveling from Alexandra's Borg El Arab Airport to Cairo, was hijacked and forced to land in Larnaca, Cyprus.
