
Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, has commended the decision of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to set up a Personal Status and Inheritance Court for non-Muslims in Abu Dhabi.
Commenting on the announcement, Sheikha Lubna said that the establishment of this court enhances a culture of tolerance and respect for differences and reflects the harmony between social, educational, and judicial institutions to consolidate tolerance and justice among all members of the society.
She added that the establishment of such courts for non-Muslims reflect the UAE as the country of goodwill, peace, tolerance and harmony, and enhances channels of communication and dialogue, and acceptance of others intellectually, culturally and religiously.
