
Palestine and Sri Lanka signed Monday in Ramallah two cooperation agreements during Sri Lanka’s president, Mahinda Rajapaksa, official visit to Palestine.President Mahmoud Abbas briefed Rajapaksa on the latest in the peace process as well as efforts to push it forward and discussed also mutual and bilateral cooperation.The two agreements, signed by the foreign ministers of both countries, called for forming a joint committee from both governments and a memorandum of understanding to open the Mahinda Rajapaksa center for vocational training in Palestine, which will be located in Ramallah.
