Islamabad - Irna

Assembly in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province has unanimously passed a resolution, condemning the last month NATO attack on two Pakistani border posts, which killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. The resolution demanded permanent withdrawal of facilities to the US-led allied forces stationed in Afghanistan. The resolution was jointly moved by members from all groups which described the NATO strike as a brutal act. “The house asks the provincial government to approach the Federal Government to take every possible step for compensating the families of martyrs,” the resolution said. Speaking on the resolution, a provincial Piralizai appreciated the Federal Government steps to withdraw facilities to the US and NATO forces including evacuation of Shamshi airbase. Parakash demanded that the US government should apologize for the attack besides guaranteeing that no such attacks would be carried out in future. Minister for Quality Education Jan Ali Changezi viewed that NATO attack was part of conspiracies being hatched against Pakistan. Minister for Forests and Wildlife Abdul Samad Akhunzada demanded more measures to withdraw facilities to NATO completely. Minister for Gwadar Development Authority Zahoor Buledi said that Pakistan had suffered losses of billions of dollars in respect of war on terror. He flayed NATO attack on Pakistani forces. Minister for Mines and Minerals Abdul Rehman Mengal said that there should be no flexibility in order to avoid recurrence of such an event. Minister for Wasa Mir Habibur Rehman Muhammad Hasni said that people of Balochstan are happy on evacuation of Shamsi airfield by US forces. Another member Maulana Abdul Wasey appreciated the government and state institutions for withdrawing facilities to the US and NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan. He, however, demanded that these measures should remain on permanent basis. The house unanimously adopted the resolution when it was put for the house approval.
