The Pakistani government and its Armed Forces are determined to continue war against terrorism and solve the pending regional issues and improve ties with all neighboring countries, said Pakistani Ambassador to Egypt Mushtaq Ali Shah.

Delivering a speech during a celebration held by the Pakistani Embassy in Egypt on the occasion marking the 50th anniversary of its 1965 war against India, the ambassador said that the cost of the campaign launched by his country against the terrorist groups hit 1.9 billion dollars last year.

He further said that his country hosts about 3 million refugees, who fled violence in their countries.

Pakistan is committed to holding dialogue with neighboring countries to restore peace, he added.

He further called on the UN and the international community to intervene to solve the ongoing conflict in Kashmir and Palestine.

The ambassador, meanwhile, pointed out to the close ties binding Egypt and Pakistan.
