OIC secretary general congratulates Azerbaijan on success of holding presidential elections

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu congratulated the Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of re-electing him as the President of Azerbaijan in a fair atmosphere constituting a significant move towards cementing democracy in Azerbaijan. In a statement issued today, the OIC Secretary General said: "this election will lead the country, no doubt, to achieving aspirations and hopes of building a prosperous nation."
