The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned on Sunday Israel's decision to build 1,400 settlement homes in the West Bank including Jerusalem. The organization said in a statement that "Israel's settlement expansion is illegal and is a violation of the international laws", adding that "it is jeopardizing the peace process and the two-state solution". The organization's Secretary General Eyad Bin Ameen Madani called on the international community to take it upon its responsibilities to end Israel's settlement policies in Palestine. Madani also called on NGOs to take a stand against Israeli policies.
