Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Ankara, Abderahman Salah El-Din, declared that there was no alteration on visa application carried out for Turkish citizens by Egyptian officials. In a statement released from Egypt's Embassy in Ankara, Salah El-Din strictly denied any alteration on visa which was given to Turkish citizens by the Arab Republic of Egypt. The ambassador refuted the claims in press and stated, "It will be useful to remind that all sections have to get visa from Egypt's embassies or consulate generals except from the visas given by Egypt's Ambassador, Egypt's Diplomatic Mission and Embassies in Turkey or our other embassies around the world, or the visa types given to Turkish citizens at Egypt's ports and airports' gates." In addition, it was recorded in the statement that the Ambassador Salah El-Din called on various press organs to publish news more carefully in order to protect the friendly relations between Egypt and Turkey.
