New Slovakian ambassador to Tehran Jan Bory met on Monday with Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi to present his credentials. In the meeting, Salehi referred to deeply rooted ties and cooperation between the two countries and said that existing capabilities and potentials in both countries help them to broaden economic cooperation. Highlighting Iran’s capabilities and vast experiences in oil, gas and energy, Salehi voiced Iran’s readiness to supply energy needs of people in Slovakia. Salehi also called for expansion of parliamentary and cultural cooperation along with more cooperation on radio and television, exchange of cultural products, media cooperation and expansion of tourism cooperation. The new Slovakian ambassador Jan Bory highlighted Iran’s significant status in the region and called for benefiting from the country’s invaluable experiences in various fields and in commerce in particular.
