Vietnam's new government officially took over on Saturday after the National Assembly approved the cabinet.
Led by newly elected Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and President Tran Dai Quang, the government will serve five years.
The government has five deputy prime ministers, 18 ministers and four heads of agencies at ministerial level.
Two of the deputy prime ministers are incumbents.
One is Pham Binh Minh, who also retains his post as foreign minister.
The other is Vu Duc Dam, who also holds the ministerial portfolio of science, education and healthcare, which he first took under the previous government.
In the rest of the cabinet, Finance Minister Dinh Tien Dung will also keep his post for a second term.
Ngo Xuan Lich, Politburo member and chief of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People's Army, was appointed defence minister, replacing Phung Quang Thanh.
