National Assembly Speaker Marzoug Al-Ghanim received on Monday the visiting Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, and the accompanying delegation. Al-Ghanim, whose discussions with the visiting premier addressed regional issues, praised Japan's support for regional peace, underlined the deeply-rooted Kuwaiti-Japanese ties and hailed Tokyo's backing for Kuwaiti causes, particularly when the Gulf war flared up. The talks touched on issues of common interest, namely prospects of training Kuwaiti youth at Japanese companies and means of cementing bilateral ties in various domains. Meanwhile, Al-Ghanim received, at his office, ambassadors of the State of Kuwait to South Korea, Jassem Al-Bedaiwee, Nigeria, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sharrah, Germany, Munther Bader Al-Issa, and the Arab League, Aziz Al-Dihani.
