Secretary General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah said that the Lebanese resistance is strong and deep-rotted in the public will and is massively supported and loved, and therefore it is unbreakable. In a televised speech on Friday, Nasrallah said that those who seek to break the resistance will fail, because it embodies popular will combined with faith and based on logic, experience, proof, achievements and victories. He asserted that protecting the Lebanese people is one of the primary goals of the resistance, stressing that Israeli threats are the biggest challenge facing Lebanon, and that facing this challenge requires only resistance, determination, sacrifice and the help of friends in Syria, Iran and other places in the world. Nasrallah noted that the United States cannot provide guarantees to Lebanon against Israeli threats because the US is prepared to give up anything for the sake of Israel, adding that the US can no longer impose whatever it wants on the world. He affirmed that the presence of the resistance in Lebanon seeks to confront the country's enemies; therefore it's natural for the enemies to target the resistance because it foils their plots and goals. Nasrallah said that the resistance faced many difficulties, hardships and conspiracies in the past, and that it will also go through the current stage in Lebanon in the region with the same faith, insight, determination, patience, perseverance and readiness for sacrifice. He stressed that Lebanon is no easy prey, calling for strengthening the Lebanese Army because it guarantees the existence of Lebanon and its peace and stability, warning against some sides' attempts to create sedition in Lebanon. Nasrallah affirmed readiness to hold dialogue with any side, even sides that Hezbollah disagrees with regarding the issue of Syria.
