Dr. Nabil Mohamed Abulfateh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning on Wednesday received Member of Parliament (MP) Ahmed Qarrata to discuss the services needs of the second constituency of the Capital Governorate.
The undersecretary confirmed the ministry’s attentiveness to areas all over the kingdom's governorates as per the ministry’s plans of municipal work in partnership with the Council of Representatives and municipal councils to achieve the service programs and to meet the citizens’ needs. He commended the leading role undertaken by the Council of Representatives in approval of laws and regulations as well as supporting the various service ministries’ programmes.
MP Qarrata praised the Works Ministry’s efforts in various fields, citing various needs in Manama especially to develop the city squares as well as the provision of car parking lots and services projects that directly benefit the citizens. He also presented several applications requesting the renovation or repair of old houses in the Capital’s second constituency. 
The undersecretary said the ministry continues to repair old/dilapidated homes according to the ministry’s work plans and also to provide all the other services according to the relevant budget
