A teacher and 14 students were wounded on Tuesday in a fresh mortar attack in the pro-government suburb of the Syrian capital of Damascus, the state-run SANA news agency reported. The mortars hit two elementary schools in the Jaramana suburb, the report said, causing property damage to the schools. The incident came just hours after four mortars landed in Jaramana, killing three people and injuring 11 others. Jaramana, a pro-government district mostly inhabited by Christian and Druze minorities, has emerged as an easy target for the rebels in the adjacent Mlaiha suburb. Tens of people have been killed over the past months in similar attacks.
