
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received today Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia, at Al Bahr Palace, for talks about ways of enhancing co-operation and friendship to serve mutual interests, particularly in economic, investment, trade and developmental areas.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is seeking to bolster bonds of co-operation and friendship with friendly countries and elevate joint partnerships with them.
Co-operation between the UAE and Georgia, HH affirmed, was witnessing steady, diverse growth.
The Georgian Prime Minister expressed his delight at visiting the UAE, emphasising his country's desire to promote and expand ties with the UAE in all domains that realise the interests of the two friendly countries.
The two sides exchanged views on wide-ranging issues on the latest regional and international developments, and topics of mutual concern.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs (ZHO), and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, attended the meeting.
