Mohamed bin Zayed meets RCA officials and volunteers

His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces met last night with the officials and volunteers of the UAE Red Crescent Authority. During the meeting which was attended by RCA Board Chairman Dr Hamdan Musalam Al Mazrouei, Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE had positioned itself as one of the world's major foreign aid donors, drawing from the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Mohamed called for continuing humanitarian and development programmes and praised the support given by humanitarian and charitable organisations and philanthropists. He also commended the dedicated efforts being made by the RCA volunteers in providing assistance to the needy people and those who are affected by disasters all over the world.
