Military interference in Syria can influence mankind’s fate

Caucasian Muslims Board has voiced its stance against the U.S. military interference in Syria’s affairs. In a statement the board said such events “can have an impact on the fate of mankind”. “The Syrian land was an area where representatives of different religions lived and created a rich spiritual heritage. The destruction of shrines on this land, including Islamic sacred places, and the extermination of people caused anguish and arouse irritation. These events cannot be justified. We insist real guilty parties be found and punished,” the statement says. “It is unacceptable to punish innocent people under the pretence of killing those who commit crimes against mankind. No state can build a democratic society on the bayonet’s edge as no people can be happy through aggression and outside interference. The world can see these examples in Afghanistan and Iraq,” the statement says. The document says the U.S. Congress will not authorize the military operation in Syria. “This will increase the prestige of the U.S. itself and save the planet,” the statement says. It urges the world community and religious figures to exert effort aimed at ceasing the bloody conflict in Syria as soon as possible and resolving the crisis by dialogue.
