 The Press Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers has issued the following statement: 


Prime Minister Saad Hariri contacted President General Michel Aoun, to inform him about the contacts made with the Turkish authorities concerning the situation of the Lebanese targeted by the terrorist attack in Istanbul. 


President Aoun has asked to take all actions that ensure the safety of the wounded and the return of the victims and the injured. 


Therefore, it was decided that a Middle East Airlines plane, carrying a delegate from the Foreign Ministry and a crew of the Higher Relief Committee and a medical team, will be sent to check on the conditions of the wounded and secure their transfer back to Lebanon
