
Malaysia called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to hold urgent meetings to discuss the current situations in Egypt and Syria, and find immediate solutions to the crisis. Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hanifah Aman, said on Monday that the ministry had sent a letter to the OIC Secretary General regarding holding a meeting, to enable Muslim countries to find solutions to end the ongoing criris in Egypt and Syria. The minister noted that "Malaysia does not aim to intervene in other countries' matters, but it looks forward to ending the crisis in Syria and Egypt as a member of organization."
