Majdalani: Security chaos result of illegal weapons

Member of Future Parliamentary Bloc, Atef Majdalani, said Sunday that the security chaos was the result of the spread illegal weapons, especially that of Hezbollah, which wants to impose its mini-state and autonomous security upon all Lebanese. Interviewed by Voice of Lebanon, the MP said that only the State can protect citizens, parties and components of Lebanese society. He called on Hezbollah to be humble and to return under the auspices of the Lebanese state in renouncing support from abroad and the use of weapons. Regarding the last meeting between head of Future Bloc, MP Fouad Siniora, and Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, Majdalani said that the visit was marked by openness and a genuine effort to move forward with the country.
