Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri
Beirut - Arab Today

Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri lamented on Sunday the violent clashes taking place in Ayn el Helwe Palestinian camp, stating that it is high time to realize that any inter-Palestinian conflict can only benefit Israel.
"Who profits from halting the spread of the joint Palestinian force in Ayn el Helwe camp, especially after all factions reached consensus on the matter? Must Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon remain a bleeding wound that veils the conspiracies to eradicate the Palestinian cause and steal the last rights of the Palestinian people, which is the right to return to their land," National News Agency (NNA) quoted Berri as saying.
"We wager on the awareness of the Palestinian leadership and people, and their ability to abort all attempts to drown Palestinian camps...in the pitfall of internal fighting and strife, which can only benefit Israel." Berri went on to say that having Israel as an emery was more than enough for anyone to seek out further rivals.
