Lebanon's Interior Minister Marwan Sharbil signalled on Thursday that Turkish Airlines employees, kidnapped in August, could be freed within this month. "Kidnapping story will end happily. Right steps have been taken to resolve the crisis. Happy news will come within this month," Sharbil told Anadolu Agency (AA). Lebanese minister gave no details of "happy ending." The two Turkish Airlines employees had been kidnapped by armed men when their vehicle were stopped on the way to their hotel after an Istanbul-Beirut flight on August 9. On Monday, the two appeared on Lebanese LBC TV channel. Both said they wanted to be with their families for Eid al-Adha, the religious holiday celebrated across Muslim world.
