Lebanese military man arrested smuggling carbine into Roumieh prison

Lebanese military personnel was caught at Roumieh prison as trying to smuggle 150G of Carbine inside his sandwich to a prisoner belonging to Challita family, on Thursday. Local official media reported today that the arrested military man said Challita had asked to bring him this substance to use for water heating. Meanwhile, primary investigations proved that Challita - who was arrested a year ago in a murder case - was planning, under pressure, to transfer this substance to an Islamist group, it added. Carbine chemical substance can be transformed into explosives.
