Beirut - Fana

President Bashar al-Assad’s recent dialogue with the Syrian Arab TV is ‘objective’ and covers ‘ all axis of the Syrian event’ asserting the ‘priority for reform decision’ said Ghalib Qandil, member of the National Lebanese Media Council. In an article published by the Lebanese ‘Al-Binaa’ Daily here Tuesday, Qandil added that President al-Assad’s remarks during the dialogue came in reflection to the Syrian People will, commitment to resistance, sovereignty, independence, and in rejection to foreign dictations. ‘President al-Assad was determined and confident in confronting threats of aggression and siege against Syria asserting Syria’s effective defense in the face of whatever provocations pointing out to the existence of many cards in the hand of Syria, some of which would surprise who wants to make and adventure,’ underlined Qandil. Former Lebanese president Emile Lahoud, on his part, said that the dialogue of President al-Assad reflects his far-sightedness and determination when it comes to issues related to national security and stances. Bilal taqi Addin, Chairman of the National Lebanese Accord Party, described President al-Assad’s Syrian TV dialogue as ‘ historic’ and ‘ decisive’ in ‘embodiment of a clear desire for comprehensive reform’. The Committee of Coordination in the Forum of the National Lebanese Parties, Personnel and Forces described in a statement President al-Assad’s dialogue as reflecting ‘ strong confidence in Syria’s strength factors and capability to confront a military foreign intervention’.
