
A Russian diplomatic source said that the Russian and US foreign ministers Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry will meet in Paris on January 13. 'Russia Today' Radio quoted the source as saying the two sides will discuss the issue of Iran's participation in Geneva 2 conference on Syria. Kerry is expected to brief Lavrov on the results of his meetings with representatives of the Syrian opposition which discussed the participation of the Syrian opposition in Geneva 2. UN Secretary-General's Spokesman Martin Nesirky said earlier today that the international organization is counting on the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his US counterpart John Kerry, to take a decision on the participation of Iran in Geneva 2.
