
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of thanks on Monday from Dr. Abdullah Maatouq Al-Maatouq, Amiri Diwan Advisor, Chairman of the International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) and envoy of the UN Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs. The cable was sent to HH the Amir on the occasion of conclusion of IICO's 47th meeting, and conclusion of the Fourth Annual Conference for Effective Partnership and Information Sharing for Better Humanitarian Action, which was held in cooperation with Kuwaiti Direct Aid charitable committee and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). In the cable, Dr. Al-Maatouq, on his behalf and on behalf of his member colleagues of board of directors at IICO, Kuwaiti Direct Aid charitable committee, and OCHA, expressed outmost thanks and gratitude for HH's continuous support of IICO's activities and charitable work in various areas around the world, which contributed to highlighting Kuwait's humanitarian and philanthropic image. Also, they wished HH the Amir everlasting wellness and further development and prosperity for Kuwait under his wise leadership.
