
The kidnapping incident of a Kuwaiti citizen in Manila stirred deep concerns in the Kuwaiti government that led it to immediately contact the Philippines' Charge d'Affaires Raul H. Dado to address this matter swiftly and accordingly. Vice President of the Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Office, Ambassador Jassim Al-Bidaiwi; therefore, met with the Filipino diplomat to discuss the fall-out of this incident and to tackle the necessary measures that needed to be done. Dado stressed that the Philippines' authorities are exerting all efforts for a quick and early release of the kidnapped Kuwaiti citizen. He added that his country's embassy is in constant and direct contact with the concerned authorities and is keeping a close watch on the latest developments and the unraveling of the dire situation.
