
Kuwait's Ambassador to Sudan Talal Mansour Al-Hajri lauded on Tuesday the exceptional relations between Kuwait and Sudan, including the fruitful cooperation in various fields. Al-Hajri noted, during a meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of African political parties and Former Assistant to Sudanese President Nafe Ali, Kuwait's keenness to push forward cooperation with Sudan to help achieve the interests of the two countries and peoples. The ambassador expressed hope that the coming period will witness more cooperation between the two countries, particularly implementation of projects and programs that serve common interests and goals. For his part, Ali shed light on Kuwait leading role in supporting Sudan since the 1960s, and continued in establishing development projects that contribute in strengthening the Sudanese economy. The Sudanese official stressed as well on the need to promote cultural cooperation between the two countries through the establishment of seminars, lectures, cultural and artistic events that would best serve the interests and aspirations of both nations.
