The Kremlin predicts a month of intense contacts with Turkey after the latest decision on resuming economic relations of Moscow and Ankara, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted by Tass as saying Friday.
"The government has been ordered to start contacts with the Turkish colleagues to discuss the process of a step-by-step lifting of restrictive measures introduced by the previous presidential decree. That’s why now there will be a month or more of rather intense contacts," Peskov said.
The Kremlin spokesman confirmed again that the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan may take place before the G20 summit in China in September.
