King welcomes French President's invitation

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron to conduct an official visit to France.
HM the King today at the Sakhir Palace received the French invitation during a meeting with France’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Cecile Longe, who handed over a letter from President Emmanuel Macron, which also included the French support for Bahrain’s effort in countering terrorism and combating terrorist financing, the solid bilateral relations and cooperation, in addition to regional and global developments.
HM the King welcomed the French President’s invitation that highlights the longstanding bilateral relations, praising the coordination level in the service of joint interests.
HM the King commended the French President’s keenness on promoting friendship relations with Bahrain, pointing out France’s role in maintaining peace and security at the regional and international levels.
