US Secretary of State John Kerry returned to Israel early Monday coming back from Saudi Arabia after meeting the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.Kerry' return aims to launch a second round of negotiations with the Israeli and Palestinian leaderships, while no meeting has been scheduled yet between Kerry and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Radio Israel reported.King Abdullah is strongly supporting US efforts to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinian's, Kerry affirmed. The Saudi peace initiative forms essential part of the framework agreement Kerry is seeking. Before Kerry left Israel on Sunday morning heading to Jordan and Saudi Arabia, he vowed to present a "stable and balanced" peace plan, following his announcement of achieving a progress in negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians.Kerry "is still in the process of proposing ideas ... He did not present written documents ... these ideas are part of ongoing discussion between the American and Palestinian parties on one side and the Israeli and American parties on the other," top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said in a statement to KUNA over the phone. Kerry is practicing pressure on Netanyahu in order to accept the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland as Palestinian President Mohamoud Abbas would in return recognize Israel as the Jewish state; Maariv, the Tel-Aviv based newspaper, reported today. Meanwhile, Netanyahu continues to refuse this offer, the daily added.
