Officials from Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority on Friday visited the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on highly toxic water leakage incident, according to local media. About 300 tons of highly contaminated water leaked from the storage tank earlier this week and probably flowed into the Pacific Ocean, marking the worst of such incidents. The plant runner, Tokyo Electric Power Co., said the container may not be the only source of leaked toxic water as it measured high radiation levels around the bottom of two more tanks of the same type. The Japanese government is mulling to upgrade the incident from level one to level three that means "serious accident." All fisheries operations off the coast of Fukushima will be suspended as two fisheries cooperatives decided to stop their trial operation on Thursday due to toxic water accident.
