Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said here on Friday that the US is the main criminal and perpetrator of the crimes and terror acts committed across the world. Addressing rallies marking the 13th Aban Day, National Day of Campaign against Global Arrogance, near the former US embassy, called ‘Den of Espionage’, he added that today the Islamic thought has powerfully withstood against the western doctrines. Jalili also contended that the strong tree of the Islamic Revolution 1979 has budded across the world, especially in the Muslim countries. Swiss ambassador to Iran will be summoned in an official protest to the US’ plots against Iran, he said. Jalili also called on the UN to adopt necessary measures to punish the US as well as those involved in guiding the terror acts for their flagrant deeds. Referring to the link between the US and terrorists as well as its financial support of them, Jalili also said that the US has targeted the infrastructure of the countries across the world by such an act. Secretary of Supreme National Security Council also noted that Islamic Revolution conflict with the US is intellectual in nature. Islamic Revolution 1978 emerged at a time when the US had looted the nations’ assets and sought to dominate their minds, he said. The glory of the Islamic Revolution lies in the fact that it launched a popular movement based on religious tenets to present to the world. Referring to the West’s concern over the recent regional developments, he said that it is worried that the Revolution will serve as a model for the other nations. After the end of Cold War, the US which was intoxicated with power, tried to impose its policies on the world under various projects such as globalization and military deployment. There are strong documents against the US which masterminds the terror acts across the world, Jalili said.
