Israeli settlers assault shepherd near Hebron

A group of Israeli settlers from Mitzpe Yair and Susiya settlements assaulted Monday a Palestinian shepherd near the village of Yatta to the south of Hebron, said local sources and activists.Coordinator for the National Campaign against the Apartheid Wall and Settlements Rateb Jabour said settlers attacked and battered the 18-year-old shepherd while herding his cattle in the open fields near Yatta.The shepherd suffered several bruises all over his body.
