Israeli police intervened on Monday during the protests against the “Bill on the Arrangement of Bedouin Settlement in the Negev", which forsees the forced migration of the Arab population. According to domestic sources, Palestinians who protested against the new bill blocked the roads in the city of Beersheba, when Israeli police intervened and arrested seven activists and wounded several, among them the parliamentarian in the Knesset Jamal Zahalka. President of the Islamic Movement of Naqba Osama al-Aqili told Anadolu Agency that Israeli Arabs started a peaceful protest march from the University of Beersheba and were stopped by the Israeli police, which arrested some of them. Al-Aqili said that the peaceful protest will still continue and that the foreseen bill will not be allowed to destroy 45 Palestinian villages and confiscate 800 thousand acres of land and added that this was a war against the Palestinian people. Palestinians in Gaza also protested the draft legislation that foresees the forced migration of the Arab population.
