Israeli navy vessel violates Lebanese territorial waters

An Israeli navy vessel violated the territorial water of Lebanon off the coasts of Naqura village. In a press statement, the Lebanese Army said it has coordinated with the UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon to counter this incursion. Israeli forces frequently violate Lebanon's airspace, waters and borders since 2006 war. Israeli planes almost on a daily basis breaches Lebanese airspace, the Israeli troops crossed the borders scores of times. At sea, Israeli gunboats have entered and shot into Lebanese territorial waters repeatedly. There have been Lebanese claims that Israel is breaching the law of the sea. In 2007, the Lebanese government complained that Israeli planes had flown into Lebanese airspace 290 times within four months, and that Israeli troops had crossed the border 52 times
